DIY Homemade Foot Soak To Get Soft Feet With Detailed Steps

Are you afraid of wearing a heel at a party because you have a bad feet? A lot of women prefer to wear long dresses to hide their feet and if you doing the same then don’t worry you are not alone. Several creams available in the market assure the smooth heal but many time does not fulfill the promises. So, it is better to use a natural way to fix this problem. You can prepare wonderful soaks at home which will soothe your feet and soften the dry skin of your feet.

Here are simple steps you should follow to make the own DIY homemade foot soak.

Step 1: Set up a soothing place

You just want a comfortable place to sit calmly.
Place a chair on which you can seat and keep an absorbent towel on the floor.
You will keep your feet in the pan or small tub.
Place this tub on the towel so that if some water spills out then your floor will be safe and free from water.  
You can seat your bathroom if it is big enough or in your bedroom.

Step 2: Fill the pan

Take the pan in which your feet fit comfortably and you can soak it properly.
Boil water and fill the pan with it.
Just place 2/3 of warm water in the pan as you soak your feet in it the water is likely to come upward.
Use warm water only, don’t put overly hot water to soak your feet as it will worsen the dryness and will damage the skin tissues.

Step 3: Add Epsom salt and baking soda

Now, add 1 cup of Epsom salt in the warm water and add 1 tbsp of baking soda as well.
Stir it well so that a uniform solution will be formed.
The Epsom salt will help to reduce the dryness of the skin while baking soda will act as a cleanser.
This solution will protect your skin from infection due to antibacterial properties of baking soda.
It will also help to reduce the perspiration in your soles and clear the food odor.

Step 4: Use some essential oils

The essential oils like chamomile, peppermint and fennel will add fragrances to the solution as well as will soothe the foot skin.
Just add 1 drop of essential oil. You can also add 1 tsp of almond oil to moisturize the foot skin.

Step 5: Rest your feet

Now, stir the solution well and put your both foot in the pan and allow it to remain for 20 minutes.
You can read a magazine or listen to the music while soaking the feet in the pan.
Keep your feet in the pan only when the water is warm. Remove the feet as soon as the water becomes little cold.
Your skin will become soft and smooth.
Also, you will feel relaxed after this treatment. You can scrape your heel using a brush after this treatment.
This will help to remove the dead skin and keep the heel clean.
