6 Best DIY Homemade Face Mask for Acne Scars and Dark Spots

1. Green Tea, Lemon Juice, Honey, and Sugar:

Mix all these ingredients in a bowl till it forms a paste. Apply it on all over the face like a mask. Massage it for a minute or two using slow and circular moments. Let it sit for 10 – 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water

  1. Green tea (Matcha green tea or tea bag) – 1 tablespoon
  2. Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
  3. Honey – 1 tablespoon
  4. Sugar (Brown sugar) – 3 teaspoons

2. Turmeric, Honey, and Greek Yogurt/Raw Milk:

Mix all these ingredients in a bowl till it forms a fine paste. Apply this paste all over the face as a mask using a makeup brush or cotton balls. Massage gently for a minute and let the mask sit for 10 – 15 minutes. After that, remove the mask using a damp washcloth or cotton ball. If you find any yellow tint remaining on the skin then use water diluted apple cider vinegar as a toner to get rid of yellow stains on the skin due to the usage of turmeric.

  1. Turmeric – 1 teaspoon
  2. Raw honey – 1 teaspoon
  3. Raw milk/ Greek yogurt – 3 teaspoons

3. Baking Soda, Olive/Coconut Oil, and Honey: 

Pour all the ingredients in a bowl and stir well to make it as a fine paste. Apply it all over the face (excluding your eyes, mouth, and eyebrows). Rub the mask applied facial area for a couple of minutes in slow and circular motions. Let it sit for 10 – 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water.

  1. Baking soda – 1 teaspoon
  2. Coconut/olive oil – 1 teaspoon
  3. Raw honey – 1 tablespoon

4. Cinnamon, Aloe Vera, and Honey: 

Place all these ingredients in a bowl and stir well to make a fine paste. Apply this paste over the face as your face mask. Rub the paste applied areas of the face for 1 – 2 minutes in circular motions. Allow it to sit for about 10 – 15 minutes. This mask is not only used to treat acne but also removes the stubborn blackheads. Also, remember that not to use this mask if you’re having a sensitive skin. If you feel any intolerable burning or irritation sensation, then wash it off immediately.

  1. Cinnamon powder (prefer Ceylon) – 1 teaspoon
  2. Fresh aloe vera gel – 1 inch of leaves (or fresh aloe vera juice – 2 teaspoons)
  3. Honey – 3 teaspoons

5. Papaya, Lemon, Olive/Coconut Oil and Honey: 

Add all the ingredients in a bowl and stir well. Spread this paste over your face just like you apply facemask. Rub it gently for a minute and leave it on for about 10 – 15 minutes. Rinse off the skin with lukewarm water and repeat it regularly to get rid of the acne.

  1. Fresh Papaya (mashed) – 2 tablespoons
  2. Fresh lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
  3. Coconut/Olive oil – 1 teaspoon
  4. Raw honey – 1 teaspoon

6. APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, BAKING SODA AND HONEY:

Stir all these ingredients in a bowl till it forms a fine paste. Spread it all over the face as your face mask and massage gently for a minute or two. Wait for 10 – 15 minutes and clear the mask using a damp clean washcloth. Then rinse the face with lukewarm water and dry the skin to apply a light moisturizer.

  1. Raw apple cider vinegar – 1 teaspoon
  2. Baking soda – 1 teaspoon
  3. Honey – 2 teaspoons
